Kali Transcribe — Terms of Use (EULA)
Trial, subscription, add-ons, acceptable use and liability for Kali Transcribe.
These Terms of Use govern your use of the Kali Transcribe iOS application and the related backend service operated by KALI INDIE (the “Service”). By signing in you agree to these terms.
The service
Kali Transcribe converts uploaded audio files into text using Deepgram's prerecorded transcription API. Recognition quality depends on audio clarity, language coverage and provider availability and is provided on an “as is” basis.
Account & trial
- You authenticate using Sign in with Apple.
- New accounts receive a free trial of 5 minutes of transcription available for 7 days. The trial ends as soon as either limit is reached.
- Trial minutes cannot be combined with paid minutes. You must subscribe to the paid plan before you can purchase add-on minute packs.
Subscription
- The monthly plan is USD 3.99 / month and grants 200 minutes per billing cycle.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID upon confirmation of purchase and renews automatically each month unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel the subscription at any time in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your device. Cancelling stops future renewals; the current cycle remains usable until expiry.
- Starting the subscription immediately ends any remaining trial minutes.
Add-on minute packs
- Add-on packs (50 minutes for USD 0.99, 120 minutes for USD 1.99) are one-time purchases that never expire.
- Add-ons are only available while you have an active subscription.
- Minutes are consumed by rounding the audio duration up to the next whole minute.
Refunds
Refund requests for App Store purchases must be made through Apple. KALI INDIE has no authority to issue refunds for purchases made through the App Store.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to process audio that you do not have permission to record or transcribe, or to process audio that violates applicable law. We may suspend an account that repeatedly breaches these rules.
Liability
Kali Transcribe is provided to you without warranty. To the maximum extent permitted by law, KALI INDIE is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of the Service.
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated inside the app. Continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance.
